Online Polls
There are lots of issues with online polls – and with all polls – and no-one should try to use the results of an online poll as reason for changes in policy or practice in schools.
Nevertheless, a poll with a sizable rate of participation can provide food for thought by reflecting current opinion.
A well-structured survey can also provide a means for stakeholders to provide considered opinions and structured accounts of their experiences, in their own words, in their own time.
The Bureau will provide both facilities on this site: online multiple choice polls on specific questions – meant to be no more than a snapshot reflection of the participants’ opinions – and more detailed online surveys, some of which will tie in with offline surveys such as the Annual Parent Survey.
Results will be archived online here for ongoing reference.
